I didn't start Effeo with a business plan and a pitch deck. I started it because I was frustrated. I'd spent years working at digital agencies across Europe — managing Google Ads campaigns, building Meta funnels, running native ad strategies — and I kept watching the same thing happen. A client would sign on expecting the senior strategist who pitched them. Within a month, their account would be managed by someone with 6 months of experience, following a checklist they didn't fully understand. The client would get monthly reports full of impressions and click-through rates that meant nothing. Eventually they'd leave, convinced that "digital marketing doesn't work for us." It did work. They just never got the execution they were promised.
I founded Effeo in Milan to do things differently. The model is simple: you work with me. I build the strategy, I set up the campaigns, I read the data, I make the optimization decisions. No layers, no handoffs, no account managers acting as middlemen between you and the person actually doing the work. It's not scalable in the traditional agency sense — I can't take 50 clients. But the clients I do work with get something rare: senior-level attention from someone who's managed millions in ad spend and still looks at search term reports every morning.
"I treat every client's ad budget like it's my own money. Because the moment you stop caring about waste, you stop being good at this job."
I've managed campaigns across major European markets — working with dedicated local translators and native copywriters when expanding into new territories. I've run Google Ads across Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the UK. I've built landing pages that generated the first digital leads a manufacturer had ever received. I've diagnosed conversion tracking failures that had been silently burning ad budgets for months. I've sat in trade fair booths at MCE Milano explaining to engineers why their €30K booth investment needs a digital layer. And I've built Instagram content strategies for premium brands that had never posted a Reel.
That range — B2B industrial one day, D2C e-commerce the next, SaaS growth strategy the day after — is what makes Effeo different. I'm not a specialist who only understands one vertical. I'm a performance marketer who understands how to make paid media generate revenue, regardless of industry. The tools are the same (Google, Meta, Taboola, Klaviyo, GTM), the principles are the same (find the right audience, send them to the right page, track everything, optimize relentlessly), and the discipline is the same. What changes is the context — and I pick up context fast.
